『安らぎの島』は28小節定型の“クロンチョン・アスリ”と呼ばれるインドネシア民族音楽クロンチョンの中でも古式のスタイルを生かした“癒やし”を湛えた短編インスト・チューン。
ポルトガルから伝わったインドネシアの小型弦楽器、二つのクロンチョン・ギター“チュッ(cuk)”“チャッ(cak)”やピチカートで刻むユニークな３弦チェロ、ギター、ヴァイオリン、ヴィオラといったクロンチョンの楽器と、沖縄の三線由来の新たな楽器“四線”そして柔らかい篠笛の響きを組み合わせた穏やかな安らぎに満ちた作品です。

The short instrumental tune of TENGGARA no SORA "Yasuragi no shima -The peaceful island-".
Music arrangement of this song is based on Indonesian popular music "keroncong". We play it by 3 strings cello, violin, viola, pipe, guitar and Indonesian ukulele called cuk and cak with traditional "keroncong asli" style. To crossover the Japanese-Okinawan music culture, we also use the Okinawan new music instrument "yonshin" which is developed from traditional sanshin.
